THE FIFTH SOCIAL CLUB OVERVIEW
Fifth Social is a large sized venue with two sections, a nicely sized patio area, a large dance floor, and several booths lining the walls. Fifth has a nice luxurious ambiance and feels more like an upscale bar or lounge rather than a club.
THE FIFTH SOCIAL CLUB
Our first impression of Fifth Social was, that it’s a really nicely designed venue. Having been to this club several times we feel as though it appeals to a more upscale crowd and demographic of young and mature professionals. Also, Fifth Social has proven to be a pretty consistently popular club as it’s usually packed by the end of any regular night. While we have a lot of good things to say about Fifth Social it does have its downfalls, like having a pretty poor mix of music that doesn’t generally flow well together. We oftentimes found the DJ switches genres abruptly which can really ruin immersion. Fifth usually plays a mix of Top 40, Pop and R&B throwbacks, and Hip-Hop. We’ve also found that the crowd can sometimes be really sloppy and rowdy which can be both funny and/or annoying depending on how you look at it. These are our only major gripes with this venue since it does everything else pretty well. Drinks are decently priced, location is okay, and if you order a booth and bottles it can be quite enjoyable as we’ve done this in the past for friend’s birthdays. Overall we like Fifth Social but it’s not a place we’ll go out of our way to visit unless it’s for a friends party, in which case it’s a good venue for that.
∙ Large and spacious venue
∙ Friendly and welcoming crowd
∙ More of a casual club with really nice private booths
∙ Mix of music is below average
∙ Crowd can be off putting sometimes
∙ Get there before 11:00pm to avoid waiting in line
∙ This venue does not have stamped re-entry.
THE FIFTH SOCIAL CLUB GENERAL INFORMATION
The capacity of Fifth Social is approximately 500 people, but despite this, the venue tends to get busy almost every night it’s open. During the early hours of the night as the club fills up there is a more chill bar vibe, but as it starts to get busy it transitions into more of an energetic club. Coat check is available at this venue during the cold months of the year for about $5, and the smoking area is located on the patio outside to the right when exiting the venue. Drink prices range from $9+ for mixed drinks, $7+ for beer, and $9-10+ for liquor shots. Staff is overall very friendly and accommodating, and bar staff is pretty quick. If you’re interested in going to Fifth Social on a Friday or Saturday night we suggest showing up around 10:30PM so you can avoid waiting in line for an extending period of time, and this way you can enjoy some drinks before the venue actually pops off. Once you get in you’ll be asked to pay cover, get stamped (for proof of cover payment), and you’re led into the main area with the large central bar. There is also another bar off to the side near the massive dance floor and there are booths located in both sections of the club up against the walls. All of Fifth’s booths are elevated and provide some privacy from the rest of the club.
THE FIFTH SOCIAL CLUB LOCATION
The Fifth Social Club is located off of Richmond Street West on the corner of Duncan Street and Nelson Street in Toronto’s Entertainment District which is a part of Toronto’s downtown core. This venue is easy to spot because it’s got clear signs and lamps that project the venue’s logo onto the sidewalk.
THE FIFTH SOCIAL CLUB AGE LIMIT
You must be 19+ to enter the Fifth Social on a normal club night, no exceptions are made.
THE FIFTH SOCIAL CLUB DRESS CODE
The dress code is up-scale classy, and as long as you are dressed nicely, there shouldn’t be any problems getting in. Bags are not allowed, however women are allowed to bring in purses. Men are not allowed to dress in sportswear, streetwear, boots, hats or bring sidebags.
THE MUSIC AT THE FIFTH SOCIAL CLUB

FIFTH SOCIAL COVER CHARGE
Cover charge for the Fifth Social is typically $20, while ladies can get free entry to the club before 11:00PM with guestlist, and guys only have to pay $10 cover before 10PM.
FIFTH SOCIAL GUESTLIST GUIDE
We suggest you sign up for Fifth Social’s guestlist ahead of time to ensure you’re able to get into the club. Since cover charge still applies regardless of guestlist past 11:00PM for everyone, we suggest you to aim to arrive for 10:45PM at the absolute latest, since sometimes a line will start to form as early as 10:30PM. Once you arrive at the club simply tell the door person what guestlist you’re under, check-in, get stamped, and head in to start your night.
FIFTH SOCIAL BOOTH AND BOTTLE SERVICE
Bottle prices typically range from $225 – $450 on average for mid-range liquor bottles, higher-end bottles are available which will cost upwards of $600+ a bottle. Booth minimums vary depending on the size of your group, but if you’re looking to check out Fifth Social, simply sign up for guestlist or bottle service and one of our staff will help guide you further on your best options for the night.
