LOVE CHILD OVERVIEW
Love Child is a medium to large sized open concept club with a huge dance floor as well as elevated sections and booths/tables for bottle service. There primary bar extends across the entire side of the venue and one of the elevated sections has its own smaller dedicated bars. It should be noted that Love Child Social Club has rebranded since COVID-19 and is now a classier club and is for 23+ year old guests only!

Love Child is immediately one of those venues in the fashion district that very consistently attracts a healthy crowd on Friday and Saturday nights. This co-working space by day and club venue by night is aimed to a younger and more energetic crowd and because it caters to this demographic so well it very quickly gained popularity since it’s launch and maintained it since then. This is not your typical boujee Hip-Hop club on King but rather a more casual, yes still classy spot and attracts that exact demographic to it. On pretty much any given weekend night you’ll see a big line that sometimes overflows onto the street with young professionals looking to party. Capacity is quite high, probably in the 400-500 range due to it’s massive size and open concept layout. Music is usually a pretty decent mix of Top 40 Hip-Hop, Rap and sometimes Pop Rock, so if that’s your vibe, you’ll love this place. All in all, Love Child Social House is a great venue for young professions who are dressed causal / classy and are looking for a wild night out with their friends they won’t ever forget.

LOVE CHILD GENERAL INFORMATION
The capacity of Love Child is approximately 400-500 people, and despite it’s large size it very consistently gets busy. Since it’s large it doesn’t often hit capacity but yet still had certain pockets that are very packed and crowded on the dancefloor and in and around the reserved booths / VIP areas. We highly suggest showing up to Love Child at 10:45PM at the latest since the line gets busy at 11:00PM. Ideally the best time to show up is 10:30PM so you can quickly get in and get stamped. This way if you don’t want to stand around while people are still coming in you can leave and re-enter by showing your stamp to the door staff at the front of the venue. Coat check is typically available in the Fall / Winter season for $3-5. Price of drinks range from about $6+ for mixed drinks, $6+ for beer and between $7-10 for shots. Love Child is located on Bathurst just south of King Street West. Upon walking into the venue you’ll immediately see the large dance floor area and booths located throughout the venue as well as the main stage (VIP Area) and elevated area off to the right with more booths. Love Child usually opens at around 7pm as a bar, but we suggest going around 10:00PM – 10:30PM since it noone arrives until around that time.

Love Child Social House is located in the Fashion District within Toronto’s Downtown Core on the East side of Bathurst Street just a few few steps South of King Street West. The venue has a large pink neon sign in the shape of a heart and is hard to miss. Once you line up and get into the venue simply walk up the stairs to the front desk to pay cover, get stamped, and walk through to the main area.

You must be 19+ to enter Love Child on a normal club night, no exceptions are made.
LOVE CHILD DRESS CODE
The dress code at Love Child is very casual, and patrons at this venue usually wear just jeans and a t-shirt or jeans and a top. Streetwear also seems to be acceptable since the dress code is so lax.
THE MUSIC AT LOVE CHILD
The typical music that is played at Love Child is a mix of Top-40, your occasional Hip-Hop Track and a healthy dose of Pop / Alternative rock. We think this music suits the demographic quite well since this club likes to turn up to it’s soundtrack. Music is usually quite loud making it difficult to have a conversation near any one of the several speakers which are a part of this venue’s sound system.

Cover at Love Child is normally $15 but if you’re on guestlist you can get a reduced cover charge rate of $10 per person on that guestlist. Guestlist typically ends around 12:00AM so we suggest getting to the venue early so you can pay a reduced rate.
LOVE CHILD GUESTLIST
For Love Child, we suggest getting guestlist either the day before or as early as possible the day of the night you’re planning on going. As mentioned before, we suggest showing up before 10:45PM so you can just walk in without waiting too long in the line. Then you can get stamped and either chill at the venue until it pops off around 11:30PM / 12:00AM or leave and come back to by-pass the line and re-enter with your stamp when it it get’s more busy.
