what's the real minimum spend for a table on king west for 6
doing a birthday, 6 of us, want a table on a saturday on king west. what should i actually budget before tax and tip? every promoter i ask gives me a different number and i don't wanna get fleeced

sat, king west, decent room: budget like $800-1500 min spend depending on the venue and how hot it is that night. split by 6 it's often not much worse than cover plus drinks all night

yeah that's the part people miss. for a group the table's often the same money, you just get a seat and skip the line

ok that math actually makes it make sense. 6 people at ~$150 each vs $40 cover and $16 drinks all night is basically a wash

get the min spend, what's included, tax and the 18-20% service charge in writing before you commit. the quoted number is never what you actually pay

ask which table specifically too. a dancefloor table and a back corner one can be the same min but a totally different night. location matters more than people think
