where do people actually go for nye that isn't a ripoff
i know it's july but every year i leave nye to the last second and end up somewhere overpriced and mid. where does everyone actually go? big club countdown, a dinner+party package, or just the house party crowd

nye the venue matters less than the package. big clubs jack the door to $100+ and it's a zoo. an open bar dinner into party thing is almost always better value on the one night everything's marked up

yeah the $100 door for a normal club night is exactly what gets me every year. package makes way more sense

book whatever but have a plan for getting home. surge on nye is unreal and that's what actually wrecks the budget, not the ticket
