went to 44 last weekend, honest thoughts
finally hit 44 on a saturday, figured i'd post since people always ask. room looks unreal, one of the best looking spaces in the city and the sound was clean. crowd was dressed up and 25+, felt grown. downside it's pricey, drinks add up fast, and it was packed by like 12:30 so moving around was a pain. would i go back? for a special night yeah, random saturday probably not

nailed it. 44 is a dress up and make a night of it room, not a casual drop in. when it's on it's one of the best in the city but you feel the spend

get a table if you're a group there, standing room on a busy sat is rough like you said. with a table it's a totally different, way better night

agreed on the crowd, that's why i like it, actually feels like adults. bar crush is real tho, i've waited way too long for a drink on a peak night

go on a slightly off night if you can, same beautiful room with space to breathe. peak saturday is when the packed-ness works against it
