moved back to the city and half the spots i used to go to are gone or turned into house nights. where's everyone going for actual hip hop/rnb on a sat? downtown ideally, cover's fine i just want a good room

toybox is the safe bet for a sat, basically wall to wall hip hop and always packed. get there before midnight tho or the line gets brutal

yeah 100%, hit a promoter earlier in the week and you skip most of it. better door rate before 11:30 too

toybox line is no joke, waited like 40 min last time. is guestlist actually worth it there

if you want more grown rnb over straight rap check lost & found or a night at fiction. toybox skews young and hype

century room in yorkville does a decent hip hop sat and the crowd's a bit older. dressier tho, leave the sneakers at home

honestly depends more on the promoter that week than the venue. follow a couple king west promoters on ig and just go where the lineup's good
