CUBE OVERVIEW

Cube is a medium to large sized club in Toronto that features a large dance floor, large main bar, and booths scattered throughout the venue. Cube has just one floor but has large booths near the entrance and a set of smaller booths on the right when facing the stage. The venue also has more private booth areas located in the back, which is also where the washrooms are located. One of Cube’s greatest features is the large LED display located at the back of the dance-floor which not only illuminates the club but also helps to create a nice setting.

CUBE CLUB REVIEW

Cube generally appeals to a younger crowd, but usually there is a mix of people of all ages up to around 30. Since this club is quite large by king street club standards, it can actually hold a sizable number of people, but it never gets overly packed, and there is always room to order drinks from the bar. Usually the DJs are Cube tend to spin Top 40 with a mix of Hip-Hop, Rap, throwbacks and sometimes EDM remixes. Cube is ultimately a hit or miss venue, some nights it gets busy right away, others nights it takes time for it to get lit. Cube also typically attracts a very diverse crowd, and doesn’t really appeal to any particular demographic, and that is where this venue really falls short. Since it aims to appeal to everyone, it doesn’t provide anything unique to the table. Overall we consider this club okay and is worth checking out so you can decide for yourself at the very least. However, it isn’t a club we highly recommend, especially since the location is somewhat far from King Street’s main strip, meaning you don’t have the option to club hop if you want to.

The capacity of the Cube is approximately 350-450 people, and is considered a large venue. Drink prices start around $8+ for mixed drinks, $8+ for beer and somewhere between $8-10 for shots. The club has just one main floor with a large dance-floor, stage, and a few large VIP booths with comfortable couches on the left. There are also several smaller booths which are located large and open dance floor, and the second floor which has its own small bar, lounge, and the club’s bathrooms.
