PARLOUR TORONTO OVERVIEW
Parlour Toronto is a medium-sized bar and resto lounge venue that is actually a restaurant during the daytime and early evening with several seated areas which transforms into a supperclub later on in the night. This venue has two bars, a kitchen, and offers bottle service at their seated tables during the night.
This is the perfect place to go if you like pizza, R&B throwbacks, Top-40 and hip-hop. This is a slightly more mature venue that some of the clubs on King West, which makes it a great destination if you’re looking for a place to go with friends that doesn’t have a crowd that is too young, or too mature.
PARLOUR TORONTO CLUB REVIEW
Parlour Toronto is a go-to spot in Toronto that is relatively large, plays a very good mix of hip-hop and R&B, and is a nice venue if you’re looking for a bit of an older crowd, with a demographic ranging from around 21-35 on average.
This venue is great if you’re looking for an upscale supplerclub to celebrate a birthday, or to find nightlife for a slightly more mature crowd, with good vibes and music to match. Parlour itself has a mix of friendly, and cliquey vibes to it, considering that most people who order bottles are going to be a bit secluded from the main dance floor areas, but getting a booth and bottle gives a good mix of privacy and exposure to the rest of the club.
Peak times for this venue are from 12:30PM – 1:30PM, with the club getting quite packed, but not to the point that it’s difficult to navigate around the floor like some other clubs. If you’re looking for a fun club that has as mix of chill and energetic vibes, this is the club for you.
PROS
- One of the best mixes of music we’ve ever heard in a supper club (R&B/Hip-Hop)
- Tastefully upscale atmosphere and crowd
CONS
- Line can get busy
- Club can get a bit crowded
INSIDER TIPS
- If you want to book bottle service, do it in advance as they sell out early in the week
- Show up before 11:30PM if you don’t want to wait in line for too long.
PARLOUR TORONTO GENERAL INFORMATION
The capacity of Parlour is approximately 350-400 people, which means that on a good night, it can get quite crowded, and on a slower night it’ll be less packed, but that doesn’t really affect the perceived “fullness” of the club based on the way it’s laid out. We highly suggest showing up before 11:30PM if you want to ensure you get into the club without waiting longer than 15-20 minutes in line. Coat check is available for $5 during the colder months of the year.
Drinks start at $11-$13+, considering that this is a more premium and upscale venue it shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise. Parlour is located off of King St. West and is accessible through the small tunnel that is beside the supper club, Lapinou. Once you walk through the tunnel toward the lot in the back, you’ll see Parlour’s lineup and a yellow-lit sign to the left. Again, Parlour Toronto allows both walk-ins and offers bottle service so depending on what you want there are options for everyone.
Once you get into the club, there is a large pizza bar located to the left, bathrooms straight ahead and to the right, and directly to your right is the main dance floor which sits in front of the primary bar. In front of the dance floor and bar are some seated areas which double as some more private booth and bottle service areas too. Walking deeper into the venue, you’ll notice a second bar located to the right, and a large floor-to-ceiling mirror on the wall to the left, with several booths and high-top tables in between. The venue typically opens up at around 10:30PM as a supper club, but the absolute latest you should show up is 11:30PM otherwise you’ll be waiting in line for at least 15-20 minutes as previously mentioned.
The main attraction of this venue is the atmosphere, interesting architecture, sophisticated crowd of young professionals, and the amazing music the DJ spins every night.
PARLOUR TORONTO LOCATION
Located in downtown Toronto core, The Parlour Toronto is located on the north side of King Street West, just north through the outdoor corridor that you’ll find directly across the street from the Starbucks on the south side of King St. West, and to the right of Lapinou.
