Toronto Fashion Week, established in 1999 by the Fashion Design Council of Canada under the vision of designers Robin Kay and Pat McDonagh, aimed to elevate Canadian fashion onto the international stage. Running from Thursday, May 2, through Sunday, May 5, 2024, the event will take place at Black Creek Assembly, located at 131 McCormack Street. Attendees can reach the venue via major streets such as Steeles Avenue W, Sheppard Avenue W, Jane Street, or Weston Road. This year’s Toronto Fashion Week promises an exciting lineup, featuring runway shows and presentations from 50 designers, style-inspired art installations by Canadian artists, a Fashion & Beauty Retail Boutique showcasing goods from local artisans and brands, and much more.

Tickets for the event will be available for purchase in April 2024, offering a variety of options to suit different preferences. Attendees can choose from single-day tickets, weekend passes, and VIP passes. VIP passes provide additional perks, including access to exclusive events and areas, as well as priority seating at the runway shows.

Event Guide

With the purchase of a ticket or pass, guests gain access to the Runway Room and the Fashion Playground. The Runway Room will host multiple fashion shows each day, featuring the latest collections from both established and emerging designers. The Fashion Playground offers a more casual and interactive experience with multiple areas for guests to enjoy, including the Fashion Presentation Stage, Art Exhibition, Fashion & Beauty Boutique, and Bar and Lounge areas. This space allows guests to explore and engage with fashion in a relaxed setting.

Located within the Fashion Playground, the Fashion & Beauty Boutique will retail apparel, jewelry, accessories, and beauty products from over 30 Canadian artisans and brands. This boutique provides an opportunity for guests to shop the latest trends and discover new designers. Guests can also enjoy a variety of food and beverage options, including a cash bar with wine and cocktails, and food by Kanvas.

Additionally, the event will conclude with the 1664 Fashion Week Official After Party hosted by Liminul Magazine, offering a chance for guests to mingle with designers, models, and other industry professionals.
