Our Review:

Located right in the Heart of Little Italy, Vivoli operates three beautiful patio sections for those looking for Italian fare. One patio is located on the ground level in front of the venue, the second is on the ground floor, to the side of the venue (a heated covered patio), and a beautiful rooftop patio, providing three options for your night out. The food at Vivoli are your classic Italian dishes with a menu of Antipasti including salads bruschetta, and calamari, a Secondi including Steak, Salmon, a bang for buck Seafood Platter, and Chicken Parmigiana, a wide array of Pizzas and Pastas. The drink menu includes martinis, cocktails, beer, and standard liquor options, making it a perfect patio spot for drinks when in little Italy.

At Vivoli we sampled the Negroni and Aperol Spritz cocktail, the Aperol spritz is a classic cocktail you’ll find at many Toronto venues and is a fan favourite. The Negroni brings some Italian flair. Sampling the Vivoli salad with organic greens, red peppers, tomatoes, onions, goat cheese and balsamic dressing, was light and tasty. A great starting salad for those looking for a balsamic based dish with noticeably fresh ingredients. The pizza served was The Calabrese, topped with Italian sausage, garlic and roasted red peppers. This was a spicy and hearty pizza, for those looking for something with a bit of meat and heat. Lastly, we sampled the Linguine Genovese, a chicken basil pesto pasta, which was creamy and delicious. If you love pesto pasta this would be the dish to try.

Overall Vivoli is a great experience for patio patrons in little Italy, the patios are beautiful especially the rooftop. Serving your favourite Italian dishes with a great bar service, Vivoli is great for a night out with friends or large groups, or for a casual date to enjoy some great Italian food.
