ORCHID OVERVIEW
Orchid is a large venue with a large sunken dancefloor, several booths lining every wall and a DJ booth. Orchid is well known for it’s Barcode nights where they play a diverse mix of Soca, Dancehall, Reggae, Hip-Hop, R&B, and Trap music.s.
ORCHID CLUB REVIEW
Having been to Orchid many times over the years, this club is actually pretty decent. While it’s not our first choice, if you’re part of the urban demographic that likes the type of music they play you’ll enjoy yourself. Orchid appeals to a mix of young and slightly more mature crowd, and more often than not the club is turn up. Orchid isn’t like any clubs in the area considering most Entertainment District venues appeal to a more casual demographic Orchid offers something different. Orchid also features a good selection of reasonably priced bottles for bottle service, decently priced drinks, and again if Soca and Dancehall are your vibe, you’ll really like the music, which is probably the best part of this club. The only downside to this club is that it is hit in miss in terms of popping off, not every night is good and Fridays are even less likely to pop, but if it does get busy it’s really lit.

ORCHID GENERAL INFORMATION
Orchid has a club capacity of about 450-500 people with plenty of room to dance on and around the main dance floor. There are a total of 3 bars in this venue and they are large enough to accommodate the entire club even when it’s fully at capacity. Drinks start at $7-8+ for cocktails, $6-7+ for beer, and $8-9+ for liquor shots. Bathrooms are located toward the back and there is a large DJ booth also located at the back which is located above the dancefloor.
ORCHID LOCATION
Orchid is located on Peter Street in between Adelaide and King Street West and is easily found with it’s large red sign. There are no other clubs on this street, so it’s the only place that will have a line of people and door staff outside.
ORCHID AGE LIMIT
You must be 19+ to enter Orchid on a normal club night, no exceptions are made.
ORCHID DRESS CODE
The dress code is classy, and as long as you are dressed decently well, there shouldn’t be any problems getting in. Bags are not allowed, however women are allowed to bring in purses. Men are not allowed to dress in sportswear, hats boots, or bring sidebags.
THE MUSIC AT ORCHID
Orchid plays a mix of Soca, Dancehall, Reggae, Hip-Hop, Rap, Trap, and R&B. We think the mixes on Barcode Saturdays are really well done and the club really vibes with it too on most nights.
ORCHID COVER CHARGE
Cover charge for Orchid is typically $10, while ladies can get free entry to the club before 11:30PM with guestlist.
ORCHID GUESTLIST GUIDE
We suggest you sign up for Orchid’s guestlist ahead of time to ensure you’re able to get into the club. Since cover charge still applies regardless of guestlist past 11:30PM for ladies, we suggest you to aim to arrive for 11:10PM at the absolute latest, since sometimes a line will start to form as early as 10:45PM. Once you arrive at the club simply tell the door person what guestlist you’re under, check-in, get stamped, and head in to start your night.

Bottle prices typically range from $200 – $400 on average for mid-range liquor bottles, higher-end bottles are available which will cost upwards of $500+ a bottle.
