Pizza Wine Disco aka “PWD” is an Italian restaurant by day which turns into a discotheque and bar at night. As opposed to being another hip-hop club on King West, PWD has taken a different approach to mix things up. Later in the night, the DJ plays a mix of 80s disco and pop (hence the name), ranging from artists such as ABBA, Bee Gees, Prince, and more!
Whether you’re at one of the tables, one of the booths with bottle service, or on the dancefloor, this spot is unique for the music they chose to spin. As a casual spot this is a big hit among college students and young professionals looking for a break from the typical trap and hip-hop scene on King and Queen West.

Pizza Wine Disco is a medium-sized venue located at 788 King St West, which is west of Bathurst on the north side of King Street, just a few steps east of the King West and Niagra St intersection. This venue is considered mid-sized, with a maximum capacity of about 400, is a very popular bar venue among Toronto’s young professionals, and is a go-to spot for many on King West.
PWD plays a diverse mix of 80s pop, disco, and which can often be heard from the street, and this venue has a very casual vibe to it overall. The venue and patrons don’t take themselves too seriously if you’re looking for something more laid-back and fun. Pizza Wine Disco tends to get extremely busy early on in the night, so it’s especially important to show up early to get into the venue before it hits capacity, both in the summer and winter months.
This venue really caters to a younger crowd but there is a good mix of college students, young professionals, and professionals, meaning this club and bar is good no matter what age group you may fall into. This bar is well known for being a good spot to go with a group of friends if you’re looking to eat pizza, drink wine, and dance to 80s pop hits!
Overall, we consider Pizza Wine Disco a decent pick for a venue to go to on King West on a night out with a big group of friends, or event for a birthday part, but be sure to get there early so you don’t get caught up in line.

The capacity of Pizza Wine Disco is approximately 400-450 people and is considered a pretty large venue by King and Queen West club standards. Coat check is available at this venue for $5. Drink prices start at $8-10, going up to $16+ for cocktails, $13+ for mixed drinks, $8-10 for beer, and $10-12 for shots. The venue features several seated areas, a dancefloor, and many large booths.

The dress code at Pizza Wine Disco is pretty casual but there is nothing wrong with dressing up a bit if you want to. As long as you are dressed nicely, you shouldn’t have any problems getting in. Bags are not allowed, however women are allowed to bring in purses. Men are not allowed to dress in sportswear, sneakers, baggy clothing, boots, no hats, and no bringing side-bags into the venue.

Cover charge for Pizza Wine Disco is $20 for guys, but ladies can get into the club for free before 11:00 PM, or if you dined at Pizza Wine Disco earlier in the night you can stay and enjoy the club without paying for cover charge.

We suggest you sign up for Pizza Wine Disco’s guestlist ahead of time to ensure you’re able to get into the club. Since cover charge still applies regardless of guestlist past 11:00 PM for ladies, we suggest you aim to arrive before 11:00PM at the absolute latest, since on busier nights a line will form as early as 10:30PM.
