Grey Tiger is the witchy little cocktail bar in Bloordale that locals keep to themselves. Dim lights, an occult streak, drinks made with real intent, and a back patio when the weather plays nice. No reservations, no velvet rope. You walk in, you sit down, you order something strange and good.
The sceneThis is not a club and it does not pretend to be one. Grey Tiger is a small, narrow room on Bloor West run by people who treat bartending like a craft. The lighting is low, the look leans tarot and crystals and crescent moons, and the energy is conversation over chaos. It feels personal. You can hear the person across the table.
Come for the cocktails, not a dance floor. The crowd is creative west-end locals, couples and small groups, the kind of room where the bartender remembers what you drank last time. If your night is about one perfect drink and a real conversation, Grey Tiger gets it right.
Quick factsThere is no list and no booking link. Grey Tiger is walk-ins only, and the room is small, so timing is everything. Go early, hit happy hour from 5 to 7, or pick a weeknight if you want a proper seat. Weekends fill the few tables fast. Check the bar's own site for the current menu, events and the cocktail classes they run.
Grey Tiger does not take bookings. Roll up, grab a seat if one's open, and order something strange. For the live menu, hours and events, head to their site.

The honest reviewGrey Tiger sits in Bloordale at 1190 Bloor St W (M6H 1N2), west end, near Lansdowne. It's a quick step off the Bloordale strip and close to the subway line.
Small and narrow. That's the charm and the catch. The space is intimate and dim, dressed in occult and tarot imagery, with a back patio that opens up when the weather allows. Best for one to four people. Big groups will struggle.
West-end regulars and a creative, low-key crowd. People come to drink well and talk, not to be seen. It's the kind of bar that rewards a quiet Tuesday more than a packed Saturday.
Cocktails lead, and they're built with intent: house creations alongside natural wine, spirits, craft beer, cider and a real list of non-alcoholic options. If you don't know what you want, say so. The bar treats this like a craft, and it shows in the glass.
Open Tuesday to Thursday 5pm to midnight, Friday and Saturday 5pm to 1am, and Sunday 5pm to 11pm. Closed Monday. Happy hour runs 5pm to 7pm every day they're open.
It's a licensed bar, so 19+ with valid ID. No dress code. Come as you are; the room doesn't care what you're wearing.
We run the guestlists and the booths. Couple taps and you're in.
