CALL HER JULIET OVERVIEW

Juliet is a medium-sized club located in Toronto’s Fashion District on King Street West. This one of a kind Hip-Hop club features a sunken dancefloor in the centre surrounded by booths, 2 large bars, and additional booths lining the walls of the club. When walking into the club the cashier / coat check is located directly to your left, and once you actually enter the venue the washrooms are located to the back of the club and to the left. The first thing you’ll notice when walking in is the unique neon lighting reminiscent of a Miami club in the 80s.

CALL HER JULIET CLUB REVIEW

Juliet is King Street’s hottest new club that predominately plays hip-hop / rap / trap / and afrobeats. The crowd here typically consists of only those indulge in this scene. This just might be the spot you’ll find your local trapper at. No really – he’s here with a bottle of Henny in his hand with a Toronto ting giving him a bubble in the corner – this is that spot. But it’s that type of spot in a good way, because the venue is beautifully decorated with gleaming pink and blue neon lighting that really adds to the ambiance. Juliet caters to a younger crowd who are looking for a night of partying to their favourite hip-hop tunes with a mix of trap and afro bangers. Call Her Juliet is almost like ‘Truth nightclub’ from Power, except with a bit more Toronto mans. Definitely a fun spot to visit if you’re trying to turn up to your favorite trap and rap anthems. We suggest showing up to Juliet for no later than 11:00PM because on busy nights there can be a line to get in. Juliet hits it’s peak hours anywhere from 12:30AM to 1:00AM, with last call being at 2:00AM. So if you’re looking for a turn up Hip-Hop and Trap centric club, this is the place for you. We’ve actually been to this venue quite a few times and have enjoyed it every time we visited.

PROS
  • Unique interior lighting
  • Perfect club for a turn-up night
  • Great music and vibe
CONS
  • Some nights this club can be hectic
INSIDER TIPS
  • Arrive by 10:30 PM to get in without having to wait in line
  • This venue has no stamped re-entry. The smoking area is located upstairs and outside to the right when walking out

JULIET GENERAL INFORMATION

Juliet has a capacity of about 350-420 people, so it doesn’t very easily hit capacity on any given night, but with that said we still recommend getting there early so you don’t have to wait in line to get in. We suggest arriving at the club no later than 11:00 PM. Coat check is available directly to the left once you walk down the stairs and enter the building for about $5 in the winter season. Price of drinks start around $8+ for mixed drinks, $8+ for beer and between $7-14 for shots. Juliet is located in the basement of a commercial building on the northern side of King Street West, with it’s entrance being in between two buildings. The smoking area is located up the stairs and to the right outside. Juliet opens at around 10:30 PM, but again we suggest getting there shortly after it opens, especially on a busy night so you have no trouble getting in.

JULIET LOCATION

Juliet is located near the center of King Street’s lively clubbing area, on the North side of King Street West, just East of Brant street. Juliet doesn’t have the most obvious sign, but if you see the signature brick archway which connects the two buildings together above the flight of stairs you’re at the right place.

JULIET AGE LIMIT

You must be 19+ to enter Juliet on a normal club night, no exceptions are made.

JULIET DRESS CODE

The dress code is casual, fashion-forward / streetwear, and as long as you are dressed well, there shouldn’t be any problems getting in. Although women are allowed to bring in bags, but side bags for men are typically not allowed, nor is sportswear.

THE MUSIC AT JULIET

At Juliet, expect the music to be mainly Hip-Hop, Trap, Rap and Afrobeats with some R&B mixed in. This club has a real ‘turn up’ soundtrack if this is the type of music you vibe to.

JULIET COVER CHARGE

Cover charge for Juliet is typically $20, while ladies can get free entry to the club before 12 Midnight on Fridays and 11:30 PM on Saturdays. So do yourself and your friends a favour and come early to save on cover.

JULIET GUESTLIST GUIDE

We suggest you sign up for guestlist ahead of time to ensure you’re able to get into the club. Since cover charge still applies regardless of guestlist at 12:00 AM, we suggest you to aim to arrive for 11:15 PM, especially for ladies who want to get in for free as the line can build for this venue very quickly by as early as 11:00 PM. Once you arrive at the club simply tell the door person what guestlist you’re under, check-in, get stamped and then head downstairs to start your night.

JULIET BOOTH AND BOTTLE SERVICE

Bottle prices typically range from $220 – $450 on average for mid-range liquor bottles, higher-end bottles are available which will cost upwards of $750+ a bottle. There are multiple birthday packages available, however, note that booth prices typically start at a 2-bottle minimum on Fridays and a 3-bottle minimum on Saturdays, so expect to at least $800 worth of bottles for a booth, or $1200 worth of bottles to guarantee a booth in the main room. Simply sign up for guestlist and bottle service and one of our staff will help guide you further on your best options for bottle service.
