LOBBY TORONTO OVERVIEW

Lobby is a standard small-to-medium sized lounge with one large bar along the wall on the left when walking in, a main dancefloor area in front of the bar surrounded by several seated areas during the earlier hours of the night which convert to table tops later on, and an elevated VIP / Booth & Bottle area with a DJ booth.

LOBBY CLUB REVIEW

The very first thing most people notice as they first step foot into the main area of Lobby is the extravagant array of green flora hanging from the ceilingt. This unique and South American inspired supper club / lounge has a romantic and refreshing vibe to it. This venue has a unique ambiance that combines it’s large arch shaped mirrors, rustic pastel plaster walls and tasteful paintings with modern luxurious furniture and music. During the early hours of the night, this is the perfect spot to enjoy delicious tapas style entrées from the kitchen and Lobby’s unique menu of cocktails. At around 11PM this sit-down supper club turns into a full fledged lounge with patrons dancing and socializing with one another to a great soundtrack of house, funk-electronic, and lounge-house vibes. Peak times are anywhere from 12:00AM to 1:00AM with last call being at 2:00AM. If you’re looking for a break from Toronto’s typical hip-hop club vibe and are looking to just chill out with your friends, Lobby is your answer.

LOBBY GENERAL INFORMATION

Lobby has an approximate capacity of 250 people, but with it being a lounge it doesn’t get overly crowded or rowdy like your average club would. If you’re looking to check out Lobby to enjoy its tapas inspired by South American cuisine we suggest arriving at around 8-9pm, but if you’re looking to dance to Lobbys dynamic mix of funky-electronic tracks, we recommend showing up by 11:00PM. The average cost of a dish from Lobby ranges from $10 – $15+, beer starts at $8+ and cocktails range from $16-$18 on average. Lobby also features an outdoor patio area that is open during the Summer season, and there is a designated smoking area outside the main entrance too. The one and only bar is located on the left side, and there is also an elevated Booth & Bottle service area located at the back of the venue too.

LOBBY TORONTO LOCATION

Lobby is located on the eclectic Queen Street West on the restaurant, club, and resto-bar strip just a block west of Ossington Ave. Within the downtown core, Lobby is right in the heart of the “West Queen West” area, just north of the King West Village. Lobby resides at a small building on the corner of Queen West and Brookfield St. It is located right at the corner of this block, you’ll see door staff outside and the small sign right on the corner of the building.

LOBBY TORONTO AGE LIMIT

You must be 19+ to enter Lobby on a normal club night, no exceptions are made.

LOBBY TORONTO DRESS CODE

The dress code is a mix of business casual, fashion-forward / street wear, and as long as you are dressed well, there shouldn’t be any problems getting in.

THE MUSIC AT LOBBY TORONTO

Lobby primarily plays mix of chill house music, ranging from minimalist tech-house and lounge-house, all the way to that bouncy funk-electronic vibe that everyone knows and loves to dance to (think Kaytranada).

During dinner time the music is at just the right level to be able to talk over and still enjoy, while in the later hours of the night it gets louder and ultimately more funky making it the perfect soundtrack to enjoy a night of socializing and dancing with friends.

THE BAR AT LOBBY

There is just a single large bar at Lobby which serves the whole venue located on the left of the building when walking into the main area.

Beer starts at $8+, cocktails range from $12-$18 on average, and liquor shots are $8-$10+ each.

LOBBY BOOTH AND BOTTLE SERVICE

Bottle prices typically range from $220 – $450 on average for mid range liquor bottles, higher end bottles are available $600+ a bottle.
