CENTURY TORONTO CLUB REVIEW

Century Toronto is one of King West’s newest editions to the nightlife scene which offers a nightclub experience like no other. This venue has a mix of amazing music, a great crowd, a breathtaking lighting system, and it has really taken the idea of a luxury nightclub to the next level. 

When you first step into the venue, you’ll have to go through the standard security pat-down that most King West nightclubs and venues require, then you’ll have to pay cover which is typically $20 on a normal night, but not to worry, ladies are usually free before 11:00 pm. You’ll then walk into a large hall that is filled with mirrors and red LED lighting and this leads to the main area of the club with the coat check being at the end of the hall too.

Walking into the main area you’ll be greeted by some more dark and moody pink lighting that floods the venue and really gives it that distinct Toronto nightclub vibe. This is very reminiscent of certain high-profile clubs located in Miami, Florida, and Las Vegas, Nevada, as a dark but energetic nightclub environment that most people are looking for on a night out. This is in stark contrast to the more laid-back bar/club vibe that the old version of this venue used to be and fits more with the theme of a modern nightclub in the Toronto Fashion District that draws people to venues like this.

As you walk in you’ll notice one large bar located to the back which lines the wall, and you’ll see people dancing on the dancefloor surrounded by booths which are located to the left by the windows as well as deeper into the club.

This is one venue where we’d recommend getting a booth and bottle service because it makes the clubbing experience all the more. At the back of Century is where the bathrooms are located, and there is also a smoking are located to the right when walking in.  

CENTURY TORONTO GENERAL INFORMATION

Century Toronto is a modern nightclub located on King Street West in between Portland St. and Morrison St. and is known for being a busy club that plays a mix of Top-40 hits, EDM, and Hip-Hop/Rap. The capacity of this venue is roughly 350 people, so be sure to arrive early before it hits capacity since it’s such a popular club.

Coat check is available at this venue for $4-5 in the winter season and drinks start at about $9+ for beer, mixed drinks, and shots. This club is located indoors, but there is a smoking section located at the back accessible from within the venue, out the side door.

Century is typically only open at night starting at around 10:00 PM, and last call is 2:00 AM. This venue is open on both Fridays and Saturdays and those are both great days to check it out if you’ve never been.

Century Toronto is a modern nightclub located on King Street West in Toronto’s fashion district between Portland St. and Morrison St. on the North side of King West. The closest subway station to this venue is St. Andrew station, and you can take a street car, uber or walk west from there directly to Century Toronto.

CENTURY TORONTO AGE LIMIT

Century has a minimum age limit of 19+ for women and 21+ for men. This is because Century is a venue that is meant for a mix of young professionals, and professionals. Overall this is a more mature venue when compared to younger venues on the King West strip.

CENTURY TORONTO DRESS CODE

The dress code at Century Toronto is upscale compared to most clubs on King West, where you’ll see most guests wearing dressy attire, sophisticated designer, or anything fashion-forward. You generally won’t have an issue getting in so long as you dress classy and avoid wearing sportswear, running shoes, flip-flops, or men’s boots.

The music at Century Toronto consists of a modern mix of Top 40 hits, rap, hip-hop, and even some EDM mixed in too, which is great because it caters to a wide variety of tastes, making this a very diverse and inviting club while also representing itself as very upscale.
