LAISSEZ FAIRE TORONTO OVERVIEW
Laissez Faire (often misspelled as Les Affaire) and also known as LF Toronto is a French Tapas bar by day and King Street West bar by night that features a very cozy demeanor with a lot of high-top tables and a tasteful French-inspired ambiance and décor. Inspired by Parisian bars, Laissez Faire is a lively and energetic bar that plays a mix of house and pop-disco all night long. On any given weekend, you’ll see balloons lining the ceiling, and an eccentric crowd of young professionals dancing and enjoying a night out.
LAISSEZ FAIRE CLUB REVIEW
Laissez Faire is a quaint venue located on the second floor of 589 King St West, above Locals Only which is on the south side of King Street, just a few steps west of the King West and Portland St intersection. This venue is considered very small, with a maximum capacity of about 100, but don’t let the small size fool you, this bar is popular among Toronto’s young professionals, and is a go-to spot for many on King West.
As mentioned before, they play a tasteful mix of pop, house, and pop-disco which can often be heard from the street, and this venue has a very casual yet classy vibe to it overall. This venue tends to get extremely busy early on in the night, so it’s especially important to show up early to get into the venue before it hits capacity.
This bar tends to cater to a mix of young professionals, and sometimes college students, but there is definitely a good range of people of different ages on any given night. This bar is well known for being a good spot to go with a small group of friends if you’re looking to dance, meet new people, and party.
Overall, we consider Laissez Faire a good pick for a venue to go to on King West on a night out with friends, or for a small birthday party even, but be sure to get there early so you get in before the huge crowd of people come at 11:00 PM.
